Status Update Feb/13/12-Feb/20/12

Well we are at the end.  Pretty much last week was spent on finishing up the game as in levels with lighting and stealth. And had some problems with cooking the game.  I found out of today that we missing some INI files.  Also to we worked on adding some last cut animation to the game.  The dialog boxes are know in perfect timing with the map.  Also to got some streaming music put into play.  Over all it a vary good game and had i a lot of fun working on it

Status Update Feb/6/12-Feb/13/12

First hand again sorry for not getting pictures put up.  Next part i got a lot done over the week.  Finished the last map and got the lighting and warning alert put into each map.  The warning and lighting took a good amount of time to do but the last map i made with the lighting hitting the bricks looks great.  Also to i reworked the HUD and i got a new HUD into game.  It mostly transparent but looks good for what time we have left.  Still have to work on level streaming and sound effects and cooking.  But over we are coming vary good to present on Monday.

Status Update Jan30/12-Feb6/12

Well done to the last map.  This map was the hardest one yet for me to make.  Mostly it was doing the 2 building and making so there chr can jump from one to the next part over and over again for about what in UDK consider 4000 in height.  I spent 6 hours on that part then eventually scrapping not 1 but 2 times.  I finally got to the point where the chr can jump from area to area.  Followed by a heavy amount of apply texture to the map.  I must have 2 to 4 types of different brick texture just let a lone for this map.  But it pretty much done and all i need to do is working on the lighting.  And go back to 2nd map and work on the boss room a bit.  But will come later on this week.  So pretty after these 2 maps are done with all i have to do is work on the HUD and Menu.  I am vary much happy that things are falling into place for me

Status Update Jan23/12-Jan/30/12

Well for this week i spent a good amount of time working on the second map.   With a good amount made content i made with UDK.  The one problem i ran into with UDK there no way to figure out model height so you have to make guess for props.  For example making a table took 2 time to make sure it was built right and i ran into this problem a lot.  But the map is done accept for lighting and some populating and finishing the boss room.  But that is 45mins of work.  So i start as of today the last map and it height is about 6000.  This should be fun map to make.  Also to this map just like the second map will take up to 13hrs to complete or more or less.  Then it to finish the load screen and the HUD.  I will tell more on my next status update.

Status Update Jan15/12-Jan23/12

Sorry if my dates are messed up first hand.  Second that because from last Friday to Monday  I started on the 2nd map.  This map is about 15% longer that old map.  So it x cord are 18384 to what i can think.  Also to i started working on it texture for the floor and making sure that each part of the map is a room. This map should be done with by Sunday with or with out texture on it.  Also to i need to talk to Zak about making some desk for it and other items to populate the map.  On a good note the lighting is done on the warehouse map and so is the stealth process.  It pretty much done on my behalf.  All that left know is to finish up this map and the HUD and start menu under options.

Status Update Jan8/12-Jan16/12

Well for this week i worked on the spotlight on the map.  Pretty much i made in action script using action script flash 5.0 a warning sign.  So when the character walks onto the spot light a warning would come up and would say in bright red warning.  Also i was working on the lighting in the map.  So i have to gut all of lighting and then rework the light so only 1 spot light would be used.  Also to i wanted to make the spot lights look more brighter.  I should be able to put up some screen shots by the end of the week.

Status Update Jan2/12-Jan/8/12

Well it was a good break but back at it.  For this week i worked on the HUD.  I had to re install abode CS 5.5. So i made a great looking box.  Inside it has the AMMO and HIT to indicate hit and ammo.  With this box i am going to over relay that over my other HUD.  Also to i am going to make some gears that will rotate clockwise and counter clock wise.  Also to i worked on the Warehouse map.  I am working on the lighting for it.  I ran into some problems with that.  But it coming along at a good pace know.  Also to i increased the spot light brightness.  So those 3 things still need to be worked on.  Also to almost forgot that i need to finish up the map but it pretty much done just need to add some boxes etc to it.  I will post a picture for new HUD up soon and some other screen shots
